The Community Research Collaborative |
The Community Research Collaborative (CRC) is a partnership between the United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati. The CRC addresses regional social, behavioral, and health issues from a muli-disciplinary approach. The CRC provides support for human services and community development policy and practice through measurement, evaluation, and research, as a means to promote positive community change. The CRC helps policymakers, community leaders, and service providers to identify the health, social, and economic issues facing Greater Cincinnati area. Through the CRC, the Institute for Policy Research, the University of Cincinnati, and the United Way of Greater Cincinnati are Working Together to Improve Lives and Community. |

Eric Rademacher, Ph.D. is Co-Director of the Institute for Policy Research. Rademacher joined the IPR in 1993. He also serves as Co-Director of The Ohio Poll. In his role as Co-Director (Public Polling) of the Ohio Poll, Rademacher regularly presents analyses of Ohio Poll results to Ohio's citizens, state policymakers and the state and national media. Rademacher is also Affiliated Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. He has taught courses and guest lectured for the University of Cincinnati Department of Political Science since 1993. Course topics included Public Opinion, American Elections, the U.S. Presidency and U.S. Congress. His research interests include Ohio politics, state and local policy, electoral politics, election survey methodology and partisanship. Rademacher received his Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati. | |

Kimberly Downing, Ph.D. is Co-Director of the Institute for Policy Research at the University of Cincinnati and Affiliated Research Associate Professor, Department of Political Science at the University of Cincinnati. Downing joined the IPR in 1995. She has been conducting public opinion and survey research, working in both the public and private sectors, for over 20 years. Downing works with governmental agencies, non-profit organizations and foundations using surveys and focus groups for understanding public opinion about policy issues and agency initiatives. She has directed and designed research projects that have incorporated a variety of research designs and methodologies. Downing has been principal investigator on numerous research grants and has published and presented the results of her studies nationally. Her research specialty is in the area of understanding public opinion about public policy issues. Recently her research has focused on public opinion about organ donation and state policy changes affecting organ donation. Downing received her doctorate in Political Science from Rutgers University. | |
